LEICESTER Speedway fans have the chance to get up close and personal with their major new signing next Monday.

Pawel Przedpelski has agreed to do a ‘meet and greet’ autograph and picture session at Beaumont Park from 6pm ahead of the big Premiership clash with Swindon.

Przedpelski, who was the wildcard in last year’s Grand Prix in Torun, Poland, is one of the highest profile signings the club has ever made.

And he said: “I’m looking forward to meeting the fans and all the people at Leicester.”

Lions bosses are urging fans to take a ‘selfie’ with Przedpelski and tag the club’s twitter address in to get retweets.

And with a feature interview and stunning pictures of the rider in Monday’s souvenir programme, it’s a chance to grab a copy and get it signed.

The club have also arranged for a face painter at the stadium and there will also be 100 air horns for the kids on entry to the stadium.

Fans are reminded of the special admission price structure in a bid to introduce new fans to the sport. Adult entry is only £9.99 and all under 18s go free.

Co-promoter Marc Bates said: “We are really making an effort to bring fun and enjoyment to Leicester Speedway and to attract a new generation of fans.

“Pawel’s arrival has sparked plenty of interest and we’re looking forward to seeing him.

“And with BT Sport here for the meeting it’s a chance for fans to get their face on TV!”
