LEICESTER are revving up for a vital home meeting with Poole on Monday (7.30).

Fans are urged to turn out in force and get right behind the team as the Watling JCB Lions go up for revenge.

Club chief Damien Bates insists it’s a meeting Simon Stead’s men cannot afford to lose.
He said: “We are still hurting from our recent defeat by the Pirates in front of the TV cameras and this is something we need to put right.

“It’s a revenge mission for us and we know we simply cannot afford another home defeat.

“We haven’t given up on making the top four despite the results last week when we lost at both Swindon and Poole.

“It means this meeting takes on added importance for the lads because it’s a classic ‘must win’ fixture for us.”

The club are continuing their offer of free admission for children under 16 accompanied by a paying adult throughout the school holidays.
