LEICESTER can confirm dates have been arranged for their National League play-off semi-final with Cradley.

The Roger Webster Lion Cubs will race the first leg away from home on Wednesday October 2 – but supporters should note the meeting will take place at Birmingham’s Perry Barr Stadium due to Cradley’s lack of available dates at Wolverhampton.

The second leg will take place at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena on Saturday October 5 with a 5.30pm start as the first half of a double-header. The second fixture will be the Lion Cubs’ outstanding second leg KO Cup semi-final tie with Stoke.

Club bosses wish to emphasise they are taking additional precautions following unfortunate events in previous double-headers this season.

The club will be booking two ambulances and additional medical cover, and the early start will also allow time for track preparation between meetings.

Admission details will be confirmed in due course and Leicester are also contemplating ways to offer value for visiting supporters.

Wednesday October 2: Cradley v Leicester (at Birmingham) 7.30pm
Saturday October 5: Leicester v Cradley 5.30pm followed by Leicester v Stoke (KOC)
