MILDENHALL v LION CUBS (GRAND FINAL/KOC), PREVIEW

Wednesday October 26, 2022
LEICESTER’S NDL team take the spotlight on Thursday as they travel to Mildenhall in the first leg of the Grand Final – and also look to secure the KO Cup.

The Lion Cubs need to set things up for the weekend decider in the league, and then defend a 26-point advantage in the second leg of the Cup Final in a double-header which gets underway at 7.45pm.

It’s a full-strength Lion Cubs side, whilst the Fen Tigers also track the same line-up which would have taken part in the original fixture last Sunday.

In a change of plan compared to that meeting, youngster Ashton Boughen will ride in both matches on Thursday rather than just the league Grand Final.

MILDENHALL: Jason Edwards, James Shanes R/R, Josh Warren, Alex Spooner, Jack Kingston, Ashton Boughen, Luke Muff. No.8: James Laker.
LEICESTER: Dan Thompson, Max Perry, Connor Coles, Tom Spencer, Joe Thompson, Vinnie Foord, Mickie Simpson. Stand-by: Max James.
