LEICESTER Lion Cubs youngster Max James has suffered a fractured rib in a crash at Edinburgh last Friday.
James, who has been making solid progress again this year, pulled out of last weekend’s British Under-21 Final as he was suffering discomfort with his shoulder, but he was not thought to have suffered any other injury.
However, a hospital visit on Tuesday confirmed the rib dagame, which rules him out of racing this week.
We wish Max well for a quick recovery, with the Lion Cubs next due in action on Sunday June 23 in a big clash against title rivals Oxford.
