LEICESTER Lion Cubs youngster Ryan Ingram won the opening round of the British Youth Championship at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park on Saturday.
Ingram rode a superb race in the Final to defeat Fox Cubs rider Stene Pijper with Charlie Southwick completing the podium finishers ahead of Jamie Etherington.
Lions mascot Casper Kluczniak was successful in the 250cc class with Seth Norman missing out on the Final after two early falls.
