DUE to severe weather warnings over the next 24 hours, Thursday’s meeting at the Hydrsocand Arena between Leicester and Belle Vue has been postponed.
The club have been monitoring forecasts throughout the week but the situation has not improved, and the level of expected rainfall means it will not be possible to stage the meeting.
A new date has quickly been agreed, and the Watling JCB Lions will now host the Aces on Monday September 7 (7.30pm).
This also means the scheduled WSRA NDL clash between the Lion Cubs and King’s Lynn on Sunday September 6 has been postponed, and will be re-arranged at a later date.
The next action at the Hydroscand Arena is this coming Bank Holiday Monday (August 31) when the Lions host Ipswich at 7.30pm.
